River Smallmouth Fishing Book Review

“This new book is a whopper! River Smallmouth Fishing is the most complete book about smallmouth I’ve ever seen. It’s a terrific book about two of my favorite things — smallmouth fishing and rivers. What could be better than that?”

— Al Lindner – TV and radio fishing celebrity, tounament champion, tackle company owner

“The last few years I have shifted my fishing focus from big boats on big water to small rivers.  I shortened my learning curve by using tactics and techniques that have been finely tuned by one of the finest river anglers I know, Tim Holschlag.  His new book River Smallmouth Fishing provides all the pieces to the puzzle of fishing rivers and will ensure you have a productive time your first trip out and every time thereafter.  I highly recommend River Smallmouth Fishing.”

— Timothy Lesmeister — Outdoor Talk Radio host, KTLK —  www.timlesmeister.com

“This latest book by Tim is an easy read that offers a wealth of information for the river smallmouth fisherman.  When combined with Tim’s DVD Stream Smallmouth Fishing, it cannot help but improve anyone’s ability as a river smallmouth fisherman.”

This book is an excellent  resource for anyone interested in river and stream fishing, whether you are wading, kayaking or fishing from a jet boat.  It gets into further detail about reading the water and finding the bass, taking into account time of year and conditions.

Based on the River Smallmouth Fishing book reviews that I have read, I think that it would give any smallmouth fisherman a step up on everyone else fishing rivers and streams for smallies.

I did a lot of fishing with my dad as a kid. When we lived on the East coast he got really into fly fishing. I used to crack my flies on the rocks before I even got them in the river. I don’t recall if we ever did smallmouth fishing or not.
