Lucky Craft Sammy
Another great walk the dog bait that is easy to use and casts a mile is the Lucky Craft Sammy. The action on this bait is different from the Pencil and the Spook so is a good alternative to have available because you never know what is going to trigger a topwater strike.
I had a day on the Susquehanna River last spring where I was fishing a Spook and my buddy was fishing the Sammy and he was out fishing me at least 2-1. This bait rocks!
