Leeches and Livescope: Cheating or Efficient Summer Smallmouth Fishing?

In today’s video, we are sharing techniques that some people will feel are cheating, while others will see this as a vital tool on big summer lakes where the smallmouth bass hunker down and refuse to bite.

This is particularly common when the water is dead calm and the bass are scattered or deep.

In this video, you’ll see how to use the livescope to hone in on bass locations and use a dropshot with a live leach to get fish in the boat.

Of course, we can always swap out the live leach with our favorite artificial dropshot bait such as the Roboworm Straight Tail Worm, Berkley Powerbait Pro Twitchtail or the Strike King KVD Dream Shot Bait.
